PASO ROBLES, CA, January 8, 2024—The Craig Stoller Collection is pleased to announce Brian Storrs has joined the team as Chief Executive Officer. Storrs will oversee day-to-day operations for The Craig Stoller Collection’s portfolio of brands, including Sextant, Paris Valley Road, Windemere, and various distribution labels. In addition, he will be responsible for focusing and developing the roadmap for the company’s expanding production.

Representing more than 500 acres of planted vineyards spanning from Edna Valley to Monterey, California, The Craig Stoller Collection has been family-owned and operated since its founding in 2004. Proprietors Nancy and Craig Stoller are proud to appoint Storrs, their consulting advisor of 16 years, as the organization’s first CEO. In addition to steering the strategy for the company’s estate vineyards, properties, and wines, Storrs will redefine operational roles, develop sustainable business practices, and build brand recognition.

“Brian’s inspiring leadership style, deep industry knowledge, and professional management experience make him a perfect match to anchor our business and chart our course for growth,” said Craig Stoller, Proprietor and Director of Winemaking. “We recognized that we needed an experienced leader to support our strategic goals, and we view Brian as a key component to building success in a complex and challenging market.”

With over 35 years of professional experience, Storrs is an expert at leading vision, strategy, and execution across all aspects of the winemaking business. He is the founder and president of wine and spirits consulting firm Pump Over, Inc., and was previously president of Slainte Wines and Niner Wine Estates. Storrs has also held management roles with Wild Horse Winery, Brown-Forman Corporation, Robert Mondavi Winery, and Beringer Vineyards.

“I am honored and excited to steward all facets of operations at The Craig Stoller Collection, from sales and marketing to hospitality, direct-to-consumer initiatives, and strategic planning,” said Storrs. “I look forward to working with the vineyard and winemaking teams to build on the Stollers’ exceptional legacy in an increasingly competitive landscape.”

Storrs is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business management. He continues to serve his alma mater as a seasoned mentor. From helping dozens of students find meaningful careers in the California wine industry, to lending his expertise on the executive council board of Cal Poly’s wine and viticulture program, Storrs has been instrumental in educating future generations of wine industry leaders.
