November 2nd | Palisade, CO | The Colorado Association for Viticulture & Enology (CAVE) is excited to announce the call for entries for the 2024 Colorado Winefest Art Contest in a new format this year! CAVE invites all 2D artists from around the state of Colorado to submit their original artwork online for a chance at becoming the 2024 Colorado Winefest Poster Artist!
All Colorado artists aged 21 years or older are encouraged to enter, regardless of where they reside in the state. Contest entries should represent Colorado’s growing wine industry. Artists may submit more than one piece for a fee of $20 per piece. All art entries must be two-dimensional (photography and 3D art are not eligible). The deadline for entries is January 5th, 2024. The 2024 art contest will be held in a digital format with all entries being displayed online at www.coloradowinefest.com from January 12th through February 12th, 2024. The winning artwork will be selected by the public through online voting and will be announced on January 26th.
The winner of the Colorado Winefest Art Contest will receive a cash prize of $700.00 (to include all exclusive reproduction rights and copyrights) as well as extensive nationwide publicity and promotion by becoming the official Commemorative Poster Artist of the 33rd Annual Colorado Mountain Winefest presented by Fisher’s Liquor Barn. The winning artwork will be featured on wine totes, t-shirts, and posters, as well as local and nationwide print and digital marketing.
Colorado Mountain Winefest is a premier event in the Grand Valley and is the main fundraiser for CAVE. The Colorado Association for Viticulture & Enology is the only non-profit dedicated to the Colorado wine and grape growing industry with all event proceeds going towards the annual VinCO Conference & Trade Show, which is focused on improving winemaking and grape growing in Colorado.
