Valdo Spumanti Launches a New Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG in the US Market 

The First Release Since the Announcement of the New Partnership with C. Mondavi & Family 

St. Helena, CA, July 24th, 2023 – Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut, the latest addition to Valdo’s portfolio, has finally arrived in the US. This Prosecco Superiore is the first of Valdo’s offerings to be launched under their newly forged partnership with C. Mondavi & Family (CMF), one of the world’s most iconic wine family’s. The strategic partnership between these two entities began in 2023 seamlessly blending Valdo’s rich history and unparalleled expertise in crafting sparkling wines with CMF’s deep-rooted commitment to preserving their heritage.

The Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut showcases the exceptional quality and the unwavering passion of the Bolla family, capturing the essence and distinct character of the terroir. The Superiore, DOCG made up of 90% Glera grapes and 10% Chardonnay grapes, is crafted using the Martinotti-Charmat method, undergoing controlled temperature fermentation at 16-18°C. It then ages for 5 months on the lees in an autoclave resulting in a bold straw yellow color with a bouquet rich with bright floral nuances, animated by a fine and long-lasting perlage.
