Because many have asked, we are extending our Entry Deadline until MAY 9th
Ft. Lauderdale, FL – April 26 – Established in 2013, THE Rosé Competition was the first wine competition in the United States to seek out the best and most compelling Rosé wines on the planet. Founder Bob Ecker realized that fine Rosé wines deserved respect, recognition, and love – from consumers and the trade alike. In 2017 he partnered with Shari Gherman, President of the American Fine Wine Competition in South Florida where it has flourished. Hundreds of US and international Rosé wines participate hoping to be named the best Rosé in the world.
This year’s competition will take place in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on May 14th, 2022. Our esteemed judges from across the country include a balance of sommeliers, chefs, wine writers, retailers and educators. CDC guidelines, including social distancing and mask-wearing, will be followed.
Note: You need to register with Enofile.
The fee is $65.00 per wine entered.
Registered wines will be accepted through May 9th, 2022. (Don’t delay!)
Both International and domestic rosé wines are invited to participate.
The entry Categories are: Dry, Sweet and Sparkling wines.
We require four bottles of each wine entered, two for the competition, one to promote your wine at our celebrated “Fifty Shades of Pink” fundraising event taking place on Sunday, May 15th, 2022, and one signed bottle for promotion and fund raising at our charity auction.
Participating wineries are invited to pour at the event, Fifty Shades of Pink, at the Ft.Lauderdale Women’s Club. Please let us know of your interest.
In addition to top wine professionals evaluating your wine, you can feel good about proceeds going to a good cause. In the past sixteen years, AFWC and THE Rosé Competition have donated more than $1,100,000 to charity.
