Discussion around GPM Monitoring and Soil Moisture Monitoring
Healdsburg, CA (March 10, 2022) – Wine Industry Network (WIN) has opened registration for Growing Forward which is set to broadcast March 31, 2022 at 9:00am. Registration is free.
Growing Forward is a series of 3 online webinars targeting Grapegrowers/Viticulturists tackling the most pressing topics/issues throughout the grape growing cycle and preparing them for the year ahead. Sessions are scheduled to broadcast in March, July and November. The series features academics, agricultural experts, and notable industry professionals addressing current challenges and issues impacting the grower community.
The first session in this series will be led by Bryan Rahn, CPAg/SS, CCA and president of Coastal Viticultural Consultants, Inc. (CVC) will provide information and best practices on GPM and soil moisture monitoring that lead to more efficient GPM treatments and irrigation water use.
It will also include vineyard managers from Silver Oak Winery and Trinchero Family Estates, sharing their experiences along with the results of implementing the programs presented.
