Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association Announces 2022-2023 Board of Directors

Steven Mirassou Honored as 2021 Member of the Year

Livermore Valley, CA (February 16, 2022) -The Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association (LVWA) welcomed its new 2022-2023 board of directors during its annual meeting last evening. This esteemed group of winery proprietors will oversee the direction of the organization and its support of the wineries, growers, and members in the Livermore Valley American Viticultural Area.

“The mission of the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association is to provide effective educational and marketing programs for its members,” said Brandi Addington, operations director for the LVWA. “We are excited to welcome our new board members who bring diverse expertise and insight to help us accomplish our goals.”

The new president of the board is Gina Molinaro-Cardera, vice president of operations of Garré Vineyard & Winery. Other board members include: 

  • Vice President – Karl Wente, Wente Vineyards
  • Treasurer – Kathy Liske, el Sol Winery
  • Secretary – Darcie Kent, Darcie Kent Vineyards
  • Past President – Steven Mirassou, The Lineage Wine Collection
  • Affiliate Director  – Rhiannon Eddy, The Purple Orchid Wine Country Resort & Spa
  • Affiliate Director – Ian O’Leary, Spirited Packaging
  • Grower Director – Niki Wente, Murrieta’s Well
  • Director – Debbie Cristiano, Page Mill Winery
  • Director  – Holger Hornisch, Wood Family Vineyards
  • Director – Heather McGrail, McGrail Vineyards and Winery
  • Director – Heidi Rasmussen, The Wine Group
  • Director – Chris Sorensen, Caddis Winery

Outgoing Board President and CEO of The Lineage Wine Collection Steven Mirassou was recognized as 2021 Member of the Year. “It was my honor to work beside Steven,” says Addington. “His hard work, insight, and dedication to the ongoing improvement of the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association is immeasurable.”
