Kerrin Laz’s Inspire Napa Valley “Winter Wine & Food Fête” Raises More Than $450,000 to Support the Alzheimer’s Association

Popular Wine Country Event Raises Critical Funds for Cutting-edge Alzheimer’s Research and Support Services for Families in Northern California Facing Alzheimer’s

YOUNTVILLE, Calif. (December 21, 2021) – Wine industry tastemaker, Kerrin Laz, founder and proprietor of K. LAZ WINE COLLECTION, hosted the third annual Inspire Napa Valley “Winter Wine & Food Fête” on December 11 at The Estate Yountville. Bringing together more than 300 guests for a world-class VIP Lunch followed by a walk-around wine tasting, “Winter Wine & Food Fête” raised more than $450,000 to benefit the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

The event featured a VIP Lunch with wine poured from Abreu Vineyards, Bryant Estate, Futo Estate, Heimark Vineyard, LAZ Wine, Opus One, Rudd Estate, Screaming Eagle, and Staglin Family Vineyard, followed by a walk-around wine tasting from 34 of California’s most exceptional vintners and winemakers.

“I’m so grateful for the generous support and camaraderie of the Napa Valley community and everyone involved with this year’s Winter Wine and Food Fête.” said Inspire Napa Valley founder Kerrin Laz. “It means so much to me to bring this community together for a cause that is important to me and so many others. While we won’t be able to save my mom from Alzheimer’s, I hope our efforts today will one day save others. And that is why I am more motivated than ever to raise awareness and funds to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.”

During “Winter Wine & Food Fête,” Laz announced the 2022 Inspire Napa Valley three-day wine weekend taking place April 29 through May 1, 2022. The Inspire Napa Valley Wine Weekend offers wine enthusiasts, philanthropists and industry leaders a unique opportunity to mingle with Napa Valley’s top vintners and winemakers. Honorary committee members include: Antonio Galloni, Brad Grimes, Ray Isle, Francoise Peschon, and Samantha Rudd. Steering committee members include: Bettina Bryant, Blakesley Chappellet, and Wendi Green.
