Arroyo Seco, one of Monterey County’s “hidden gem” AVA’s, is nestled on the western edge of the Salinas Valley between rich farmlands and the higher reaches of the Santa Lucia Mountains. Sourced from certified sustainable estate vineyards, Ste. Nicolaus and Ste. Philippe, Hahn Appellation Series includes Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Grenache Syrah Mourvédre (GSM) priced $18.99-$19.99/750ml. The contemporary package design is replete with copper capsule, and elegant label featuring copper foil accents and founder Nicky Hahn’s signature.

Pinot Noir grapes, soured from certified sustainable Ste. Phillipe estate vineyard located in the Southeast corner of Arroyo Seco, enjoy an extended growing season, and produce a complex, nuanced wine. The 2019 Hahn Appellation Series Pinot Noir is clear red ruby in color with subtle aromas of ripe red fruit and roasted coffee. Picked at the peak of ripeness and flavor, the Chardonnay grapes sourced from certified sustainable Ste. Nicolaus estate vineyard, located further West in Arroyo Seco, were pressed gently and sent to small French oak barrels for fermentation. The 2019 Hahn Appellation Series Chardonnay is bright, light gold appearance with aromas of tropical fruit. On the palate, vibrant flavors of pineapple, lemon, apricot and balanced acidity mingle with toasty caramel. SRP: $18.99
A carefully crafted red blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, the 2019 Hahn Appellation Series Grenache Syrah Mourvédre (GSM) harvests fruit from the Arroyo Seco vineyards featuring slightly warmer weather and a longer growing season to ensure gradual ripening. This wine is vibrant ruby red and boasts aromas of fresh strawberry, red cherry, and a touch of white pepper that leaves a lingering long finish on the tongue. SRP: $19.99.
