Summer on the Leelanau Peninsula Kicks in as Shady Lane Cellars Hosts Its Classic Shrimp Boil

July 6th – As summer events and activities come back to Shady Lane Cellars in Sutton’s Bay, Shady Lane Cellars marks the return of their popular low country Shrimp Boil. This July, the event is meant to bring friends and family together to enjoy a meal, live music, some wine and a memorable time. As always the Low Country Shrimp Boil is the kick off for Shady Lane Cellars’ summer music series, too.

WHEN :4-7 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021

Hors d’oeuvres are served at 5 p.m. followed by dinner included. Tickets include one complimentary glass of wine for those over 21 and live music by the SwingBone Jazz Trio.

MENU: 

Fresh shrimp boiled with corn, onions, potatoes and sausage. Wine is again available by the glass, bottle or tasting flight.

WHERE:

9580 E. Shady Lane, Suttons Bay, Michigan 

Shady Lane Cellars encompasses 150 acres in Suttons Bay, including its 52-acre estate-grown vineyard, a 100-year-old fieldstone chicken coop-turned-tasting room, a 32-foot covered patio tasting pavilion and outdoor fireplace.
