From Our Cellar to Yours: Next Generation of Gordon’s Family Announces Online Marketplace to Deliver the Finest Food and Drink to Your Door


June 10th – From Our Cellar is the latest endeavour from Lucy Gordon, who is aiming to bring some of the UK’s finest producers and suppliers together into one accessible online marketplace and educate customers who are keen to dive deeper into the world of wine, spirits, and food. Launching in June 2021, From Our Cellar will connect customers and suppliers like never before.

How does it work?

From Our Cellar’s business consists of two parts. The first is as an e-commerce platform, the online marketplace that provides an interface for ‘Cellars’ to sell their produce directly to customers. The second is via a customer membership program: the ‘Cellar Club’. Through this monthly subscription service customers will gain access to the expertise of FOC’s resident wine scholar, foodie, and mixologist through tasting notes, online and in-person tasting events, a monthly delivery from our Cellar of the Month and news updates.

When you come to our site, we want it to be impossible to leave without revisiting an old or discovering a new favourite tipple or recipe. Whether you want to impress a date or have an evening with friends planned, our Cellar Club will provide you with the insight and inspiration you need to make it a hit.”

Who are we?

From Our Cellar is the latest in the Gordon Family’s portfolio of ventures. The founder, Lucy, is the granddaughter of Wendy Gordon who owns the venerable London institution Gordon’s Wine Bar. As a long-time supporter of local producers, suppliers and restaurants, Lucy wanted to create a secure and robust platform for them to discover new customers and open up new revenue streams, a mission with particular importance when considering the economic and logistical stress the food and drink sector has been placed under by the impact of coronavirus over the past year.

Lucy has recruited an old school friend, who holds her WSET Diploma in Wine, is an Italian Wine Scholar, and a French Wine Scholar, to advise and moderate wine related produce and content on the site.
