WOODINVILLE, WA (March 24, 2021) – DeLille Cellars, Woodinville’s third oldest winery and pioneer of Bordeaux-style blends, has announced it is aligning with Aspect Fine Wine, a new division of Breakthru Beverage Group.  A leading North American beverage distributor with operations across the United States and Canada, Breakthru recently launched Aspect to create a cohesive portfolio solution for the rapidly growing fine wine space with a heightened focus on education, account segmentation, data, and insights.

“Aligning with Aspect throughout Breakthru’s thirteen markets is an incredible opportunity for DeLille in our efforts to bring Washington wines to more customers around the country.  Aspect will connect acclaimed wineries with discerning customers seeking out fine wine experiences, and we are excited to be a part of the portfolio,” said Janna Rinker, Director of National Sales for DeLille Cellars.  “Breakthru has been a wonderful partner, and we’re thrilled to expand our relationship through their new fine wine division to help showcase the tremendous quality of Washington wine,” added Tom Dugan, DeLille’s CEO.

Aspect will bring education and awareness to DeLille’s portfolio, sharing the winery’s 30-year legacy of acclaim, as well as furthering DeLille’s mission to increase the awareness of the world class viticulture and winemaking of Washington State.  Aspect will provide customers with the same passion, in-depth training and product knowledge of a specialty distributor while leveraging Breakthru’s commercial technology, logistics and operational capabilities.

“We are honored and humbled to expand our relationship with one of the icons of Washington State,” said Adam Pizer, Vice President of Wine Business Development for Breakthru.  “The pedigree of winemaking, quality of vineyards and commitment to excellence are the qualities that make DeLille Cellars a great fit for Aspect Fine Wine & Breakthru Beverage Group.”

DeLille Cellars’ national portfolio with Aspect highlights the winery’s founding story as a pioneer of premium red and white Bordeaux-style blends from some of the oldest and most prestigious vineyards in Washington State.  Wines available include Chaleur Blanc, a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon; D2, a Merlot-dominant blend from a dozen notable Washington vineyards; Four Flags, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from four distinguished Red Mountain AVA vineyards; and Chaleur Estate, a Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blend and DeLille’s founding wine.  A limited amount of Grand Ciel, DeLille’s single-clone Cabernet Sauvignon from its Red Mountain estate vineyard, will also be available in select markets.
