Quintessential Wines Welcomes Champagne Palmer & Co. to Its Family Winery Portfolio on January 1st

The importer makes its first foray into Champagne with the newly-awarded world champions at the CSWWC

NAPA, CA (December 14, 2020) — Quintessential, recently named 2020 “Importer of the Year”, will welcome Champagne Palmer & Co. to its portfolio effective January 1, 2021. The esteemed Champagne House, regarded for its highly acclaimed wines and prestigious vineyard holdings will enter into an exclusive U.S. market import partnership with Quintessential at the start of the new year.

The agreement includes Champagne Palmer’s unique Rosé Solera (SRP $80) as well as their emblematic Brut Reserve (SRP $60) and Blanc de Blancs (SRP $90)—both of which were just announced as the best wines in their respective categories at the 2020 Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships (CSWWC). The Vintage 2012 (SRP $120) and limited allocations of select library vintages and large format bottles will also be available through Quintessential. Additional cuvees from the Palmer & Co range will be introduced gradually.

In an announcement made by the CSWWC today, Champagne Palmer Brut Reserve was named the world’s best Brut NV, and Champagne Palmer Blanc de Blancs was awarded the trophy for the best Champagne Blanc de Blancs NV. This is the second year in a row that Palmer Blanc de Blancs has earned such a prestigious title, after taking home the world champion trophy in 2019. The CSWWC is the most respected, comprehensive and rigorous international sparkling wine competition in the world, judged by leading Champagne experts Tom Stevenson, Essi Avellan MW and George Markus.
