August 28, 2020, Santa Maria, CA – Miller Family Wine Company, a division of the industry-leading Thornhill Companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tommy Gaeta as Director of Marketing.
Gaeta brings over a decade of brand management and marketing experience in the wine industry to his new role with Miller Family Wine Company. A native of Santa Maria and the Central Coast, Gaeta earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2004 and spent the following four years working in Revenue Management for United Airlines in Chicago. In 2008, Gaeta returned to his home state of California to pursue his MBA from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management, during which time he began his career in the wine industry as an MBA Marketing intern with the E & J Gallo Winery. After completing his MBA, Gaeta was brought back to Gallo as a full-time Associate Brand Manager, beginning his career in Gallo’s Spirits department before moving over to Premium Wine.
Over the next decade, Gaeta led brand management and marketing efforts for over 20 different premium and luxury wine brands from a variety of world-renowned regions, including Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Italy, and Argentina. Most recently, Gaeta spent four years as a Senior Brand Manager overseeing Gallo’s Central Coast and Pacific Northwest portfolio, inclusive of Talbott Vineyards, Edna Valley Vineyard, Bridlewood Estate, and Columbia Winery.
Beyond generating impactful marketing campaigns, Gaeta also brings a wealth of experience in new brand and product development, having led the creation and launch of several new wine brands and numerous line extensions.

Gaeta lives in Sonoma County with his wife, Victoria, and newborn son, Jack.
