A $500 Cult Flight, Under-the-Radar Discoveries and Big Kahunas

(St. Helena, Calif.—July 6, 2020)— St. Helena’s ACME Fine Wines, recently named one of Wine Enthusiast’s 50 Best Wine Retailers in America, today announced that the boutique wine retailer will be open for private tastings effective immediately. Proprietor Karen Williams and her sommelier team are looking forward to welcoming visitors and locals alike for a new series of tastings, available for summer through fall. Always hosted by an ACME sommelier, the new in-person tastings are a terrific way for guests to expand their palate and wine knowledge, experience debut wines from superstar winemakers and learn first-hand the types of wines that ACME’s wine clubs offer.

ACME is following the state of California’s and the CDC’s extensive health and safe precautions and keeping the staff and patrons healthy is of the utmost importance. To book any tasting please call 707.963.0440 or visit www.acmefinewines.com.

Cult v. IPO Tasting

ACME is well known for helping to launch and promote micro-wineries and brands that achieve fame down the road. Internally dubbed “IPO” brands, these are debut projects carefully chosen by ACME’s dynamic team of sommeliers who are constantly scouting to bring the next big thing to their clients—before anyone else. This tasting features two cult wines (think brands like Harlan Estate, Screaming Eagle and Scarecrow) alongside two soon-to-be-discovered IPO wines. Let ACME’s somms guide you through this tasting of Napa’s best and what’s next.

$500 per person, 90 to 120 minutes, four wines, exclusively for groups of 4 people. The Cult v. IPO Tasting is inclusive of charcuterie and cheese platter to enjoy alongside.
