Acclaimed Rutherford Estate Set to Welcome Guests Beginning June 12
NAPA, Calif. (June 11, 2020) – Quintessa, located in Napa Valley’s acclaimed Rutherford appellation, today announced that it will reopen its doors and begin welcoming guests on Friday, June 12. The wine producer is pleased to invite guests to immerse themselves in the property and experience the single Estate wine created each year.
“We look forward to raising a glass of Quintessa with our members and guests as we welcome them back to our Rutherford Estate,” said General Manager Rodrigo Soto. “It has always been our top priority to provide a personal, safe, and memorable experience for all guests at Quintessa. In preparation for reopening, we have enhanced our best practices and safety protocols so that we can continue to share our passion for farming and winemaking at the level that guests have always enjoyed.”
Quintessa is currently offering two private in-person experiences – The Quintessential Experience and The Estate Experience. The Quintessential Experience includes a tour of the property followed by a seated tasting in one of the winery’s idyllic outdoor tasting pavilions. Located on the top of Dragon’s hill in the heart of the Estate, the architecturally stunning pavilions offer the ultimate private tasting experience. Set amid sun-dappled, oak-crowned slopes overlooking a diversity of vineyards farmed with organic practices, a lake, and an array of biodiversity, each pavilion is designed to accommodate intimate, privately hosted wine-tastings for up to four guests. Designed for the ultimate wine connoisseur, this seated tasting experience features the current Quintessa release alongside one library vintage and two barrel samples of a future Quintessa vintage.
The Estate Experience provides guests with a private tour of the property where they can experience the unique terroir and the meticulous organic and biodynamic farming practices that preserve and enhance the nuances of the land. The experience culminates in a seated tasting of Illumination Sauvignon Blanc, a current vintage of Quintessa, and one library vintage. A virtual version of The Estate Experience is also available for those wishing to learn about the philosophy of the winery and indulge in Quintessa’s artfully crafted wine from the comfort of their homes.
