Tasting moves outside to accommodate a safe and intimate experience
Healdsburg, CA (June 10, 2020) – The Bacigalupi Family is excited to welcome guests back to their tasting room off Westside Road in Russian River Valley beginning Friday, June 12. Pam Bacigalupi, who retired from a 33-year career as a nurse before joining the family farming operation full-time, says they have implemented a series of safety procedures in according with CDC and local government guidelines to ensure the safety of all staff and guests.
“Our staff are required to wear face coverings at all times and practice meticulous hand hygiene. In addition, our guests will be required to wear face coverings, except while seated at their table for the tastings, “she said. “We are disinfecting all tables after each use and ensuring our high-use public areas are regularly cleaned.”
Seated one-hour tastings are by reservation only and will be held on the winery’s patio and outdoor spaces adjacent to the tasting room on Westside Road. For a cost of $25 per person, each outdoor tasting experience will include a selection of five Bacigalupi Vineyards estate-grown wines, including the recently released 2019 Rosé of Pinot Noir. In addition to the wine tasting, guests on-site will have an opportunity to purchase their own “Baci Board” featuring a selection of the family’s favorite local cheeses with an assortment of cured meats, almonds, and Rustic Bakery Flatbread.
Each tasting fee will be refunded with a purchase of two or more bottles at the time of the visit. Current club members in good standing receive four complimentary tastings per visit, however club members must accompany their guests to enjoy complimentary tasting benefits. Groups who choose to socialize together will be limited to six guests.
