Wise Villa Winery, Golden State Winery of the Year 2015, announced today they are opening for Dine-In food service and onsite wine consumption beginning Friday, May 15th.
Wise Villa Winery is proud to announce they will reopen for Dine-In service, in one of California’s most elegant Tuscan Style restaurant/bistro, and on-site wine consumption this Friday and are among the very first wineries in Northern California to do so. Under the guidance put forth in Governor Gavin Newsom’s reopening plan, Dine- In patrons are once again allowed to enjoy a meal and a glass of wine in the famous Tuscan-inspired Bistro at Wise Villa Winery as Northern California moves into Phase 2.
Like many other California wineries, Wise Villa Winery has been able to offer curbside wine and food pickups through the shelter-in-place orders. However, no onsite dining or wine consumption has been allowed since March 17th when the shelter in place order was issued. Serving up a brand-new Bistro menu, Chef Marc Riedel will be able to bring a delectable, fresh cuisine once again to pair with the elegant tastes and aromas of our world-class wines. “We are very excited to reopen and begin hiring back the dozens of employees we were forced to layoff due to the shelter-in-place order” said Dr. Grover Lee, owner of Wise Villa Winery.
California wineries are slowly opening, but it will be anything but business as usual. There are dozens of requirements and suggested sanitation practices that need to be implemented prior to opening the doors to the public. Most California winery tasting bars will remain closed until Phase 3 of the reopening plan because they do not have the ability to provide food paired with wine consumption which is one of the major requirements for reopening.
