A virtual tasting event featuring actor, writer and Groundlings alum Erik Mehn with winemaker Eric Hickey

Laetitia logoLaetitia Vineyard & Winery announces a virtual wine tasting event with a funny twist. The winery invites wine lovers in search of wine and comic relief to join winemaker Eric Hickey and Groundlings alum Derek Mehn for a S.I.P. wine tasting and chat. Eric is Laetitia’s long-time winemaker; Derek is a multi-talented performer well-versed in the art of irreverent improv. The event will be held on InstagramLIVE, @laetitiawine, Wednesday, April 8, 5:30pm (PST); 8:30pm (EST).

“With real life wine tasting on hold in California, we wanted to find a way to stay connected with our fans,” explained Hilary Berkey, Director of Marketing for Laetitia Vineyards. “Everybody needs another reason to smile so what better way than to blend comedy and wine.”

Eric and Derek will taste through three Laetitia wines: 2018 Laetitia Pinot Noir, 2017 Laetitia Reserve du Domaine Pinot Noir and 2017 Laetitia Sparkling Brut Rose. Chat guests will be able to submit questions live.

If you want to taste along, check out the retail locator at www.laetitia.com to find wine near you or order online (shipping delays may apply). Local Wine Club members can order wine and schedule a pickup at the winery by texting at (805) 716-6481 or email to [email protected].

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of these wines goes tasting room and restaurant employee relief. 21+.
