(January 29, 2020) – Looking to better assist customers in the coming year, G3 Enterprises will be highlighting a variety of new cost-effective solutions, services and locations intended to provide wineries and viticulturalists with more options and convenience to improve their operating efficiencies at this year’s Unified Wine & Grape Symposium.

“Given the challenges currently facing our industry, G3 is focusing on how to better serve our customers so they can be more successful in the coming year,” said Tom Cook, President and CEO of G3 Enterprises. “We are focusing on providing more convenient solutions and locations to make more products, services and technical support available to help our customers improve their bottom line.”

G3 Enterprises has been offering packaging and logistics support for more than fifty years and provides wineries with the latest innovation and technical services ranging from oak, closures, labels, bottling, packaging equipment, transportation and warehousing. From its multiple locations around the country, the company serves more than 2,300 wineries, growers and beverage producers ranging from iconic brands to boutique offerings.

In the North Coast region, G3 now offers a host of expanded goods and services with four facilities in Napa County offering easier access to wine-on-tap filling services, transportation, climate-controlled warehousing, label printing and packaging equipment.  This includes:

A new bonded filling facility for Petainer Kegs in American Canyon. This provides a simple, convenient place for wineries to fill kegs for still and sparkling wine on-tap programs. One-way Petainer Kegs are made with 100% recyclable materials and are available in a variety of sizes including a new 20L Hybrid which provides easy handling and stacking.  The new filling services are turn-key solutions which include a high-quality keg filler, lab services on-site, keg transportation (tote and tank), climate-controlled warehousing and keg shipment.  G3 also provides customers with COLA application, processing and excise tax management.

A convenient location for label printing and technical support for winery and beverage customers in Napa, close to the airport. The Napa location is in addition to G3’s printing services in Modesto and El Dorado Hills, providing flexible lead times and expedited delivery programs while utilizing sustainable products (GTREE™), waste reducing label embellishment (GINK™) technology and highly detailed flexographic plate capability that customers have come to expect.

Boxcar consolidation services to the beverage industry in the North Coast at its American Canyon facility.  The service is supported by a team of dedicated logistics representatives and analysts to make shipping by rail a seamless transition for a customer’s distribution network.

A broad range of products, services and dedicated staff are available to meet the precise needs of small and mid-sized producers and vintners of high-end premium and super-premium wines.  Services include local grape transportation and tanker options available in both Sonoma and Napa Counties, the availability of ½-ton, 2-ton and 6-ton bins for premium grapes, small trucks for hauling, compartmentalized tankers, winegrape processing and bottling equipment and premium Diam corks and oak offerings through G3’s exclusive DIAM and Boisé partnerships.

In the Central Valley, G3 has completed the refurbishment of the former Seneca Foods Cannery in Modesto.  With more than 1.5 million square feet, G3’s Finch Campus adds additional high-quality warehouse space to the region.  G3 also completed construction on a 200,000 square foot warehouse and is now under construction on an additional 350,000 square foot warehouse on its Morgan Campus. Once complete, G3 will own 4.6 million square feet of industrial space spread across its Modesto campuses.

Nationally, G3 will continue to provide innovative new products including the latest Internet of Things (IoT) innovation named RoboBottle™ and BottGuide which utilizes real-time data to provide winery customers with critical information for improving efficiency, quality and waste in their bottling line operations. These bottles, backed by G3’s Technical Service audit support, are available now for G3 customers. Finally, G3 will be introducing its newest Oxygen Sensing RoboBottle™ for dynamically testing for oxygen levels on commercial bottling lines.

“Our focus as a valued partner is to help each winery, grower and beverage customer succeed. We work as an extended part of their team” said Cook.  He added, “Those attending Unified will be able to learn about a variety of new G3 enhancements that provide convenience, flexibility, best-in-class service, and our complementary technical service support.”
