SAN FRANCISCO, CA (December 18, 2019) – On October 31st, it was announced that Sans Wine Co. was selected as a local vendor through the Warriors and Chase Center Taste Makers program. The Chase Center is the Golden State Warriors’ new 18,064 seat privately financed sports and entertainment arena in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood. The centers Food & Beverage program is run by Bon Appetit Management Company and Levy.

An all-female team including Warriors Community Foundation President, Nicole Lacob; renowned wine expert Debbie Zachareas; and Brooke Lieberwitz, Leslie Panion and Bianca Rivera of Bon Appetit Management Company, teamed up to carefully curate the wine selection for all of the Chase Center. In addition to Sans Wine Co’s Zinfandel, Gratta Wines and P. Harrell Wines were also selected as local vendors to highlight through the Taste Makers program.

“As a locally owned small business making unique and high-quality Bay Area wines, Sans Wine Co. is the embodiment of the Taste Makers at Chase Center program,” Chase Center beverage director, Brook Lieberwitz, said. “Sans’ Zinfandel, one of the only single-vineyard canned wines out there, not only has fantastic depth of flavor but adds dimension to our canned beverage offerings.”

The Sans Wine Co. Zinfandel is medium bodied with aromas of ripe strawberries, red licorice and roses — and flavors of wild berries and figs. The grapes from this wine are organically grown from Poor Ranch Vineyard’s ‘Easter Block’ located in Mendocino County.

Sans Wine Co. was started in late 2015 by founders, Jake Stover and Gina Schober under the philosophy of sourcing premium wine grapes from organically farmed vineyards and environmentally conscience growers.

“As a Bay Area native, I am thrilled and honored to have my canned wines on the wine list for the new Chase Center,” Schober said. “Having a local presence in the San Francisco Bay Area is very important to us at Sans Wine Co. We are very thankful to Brooke Lieberwitz of Bon Appetit and Debbie Zachareas for selecting us for the Tastemakers Program!”

Sans Wine Co. features natural, low intervention, unoaked, certified vegan wines with little to no added sulfites.
