Paris – October 10, 2019 – Aveine announces the launch of its mobile application available today on the Apple Store and the Play Store. Made for wine lovers, the application offers the consumers the opportunity to help them improve their tasting experience. With a simple scan of the label on the bottle, the Aveine application recommends the aeration time for an optimal taste of the selected wine. Completely free, the app is available from today in 41 countries.
The Ideal Aeration That Wine Needs
On the market since May 2019, the Smart Wine Aerator can aerate any wine precisely and instantly. The consumer places the aerator on the open bottle and scans the label with the application, which determines the ideal aeration time on a scale from 1 to 24 hours using an algorithm developed by Aveine and automatically adjusts the aerator for an optimal taste of the selected wine. More than 10,000 wines are listed in the Aveine database.
Where to Test the Aerator? – The Aveine Ambassadeurs
The application also lists the Ambassadeurs of Aveine who offer a wine service with the Smart Wine Aerator. To test the Aerator in the restaurants that use it, wine lovers can go to the Ambassadeurs‘ menu. The aerator can be tested in several cities in France and on other continents.
Information on Wine
The application is not all related to the Aerator and gives information about the wine, verified by the Aveine team. The application is collaborative: the database is enriched by the wine sheets created by users. Each record is checked before entering the database. The application will soon have its content and functionalities enhanced.
“Wine is a question of pleasure and sharing. With the application, users participate in enriching the database and discover new wines, they learn a little more about their wines and how to air them to fully enjoy them,” says Nicolas Naigeon, President of Aveine. Thanks to the map integrated in the application, users can also test the Aerator at our Ambassadeurs’, discover new places, and live a new wine experience”.
Aveine was born in France. It is the result of the meeting of three entrepreneurs with very different backgrounds: an engineer and grandson of a winegrower, Nicolas Naigeon, a designer Matthieu Robert, and a business developer expert, Miranda Delmotte. Brought together by their passion for wine and new technologies, it is naturally around a bottle of wine that the idea of a product that reinvents wine tasting is born. Their three glasses clinking marked the beginning of the Aveine adventure. Today, Aveine is a team of 15 people dedicated to the project. Visit our website www.aveine.paris.
