Denver, CO – October 8, 2019 – Integrated Beverage Group (IBG Wines), an innovative winemaking company, announced today that Andrew Smith, a 30-year veteran of the industry, has been appointed Chief Sales Officer. Under CEO Ari Walker’s leadership, Smith will lead IBG’s global sales team within the three-tier system.
Smith joins IBG after 12 years with Palm Bay International where he centralized the national accounts team and managed all aspects of sales, while also leading the business development and private label efforts of the company. Prior to Palm Bay International, Smith spent more than a decade working for RNDC in Texas, where he led multiple sales teams across all channels and portfolios in the state.
“Since the beginning, our focus at IBG has been to offer differentiated solutions that solve real problems for wine consumers,” said Ari Walker, CEO at Integrated Beverage Group. “Our unique toolkit, including a $50M investment in scientific research and complete vertical integration in Oregon fit well with Andrew’s capabilities. As one of the foremost leaders in national beverage and alcohol sales, he will not only help us build a world-class sales team, but also bring his vast industry experience and deep relationships to expand our reach and offerings in the marketplace.”
“Working with Ari and the IBG team offers an instant opportunity for me to hit the ground running, scaling the wines for growth in all key markets. The systems are in place, the wines are incredible and the team is poised for the next level. I’m thrilled to be bringing my expertise to the organization,” said Andrew Smith.
IBG Wines recently launched Lifevine, which is the first and only Certified Pesticide Free wine in the US market.
