NAPA, Calif. (July 11, 2019) – Ackerman Family Vineyards has added a new white wine to its collection of fine wines with the introduction of the 2018 Ackerman Family Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley.
Sourced predominantly from Napa’s cooler Coombsville District, Ackerman Family Vineyards Winemaker Leo Tellez fermented and aged the wine in stainless steel tanks and stirred the lees once a week for the first two months to build richness and mouthfeel. The inaugural 2018 vintage of Ackerman Family Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc is available at ackermanfamilyvineyards.com and The Aviary tasting room in Napa for $42.
Ackerman Family Vineyards purchased the Stonehaven Vineyard in Napa Valley’s Coombsville district 1994 and released the first Ackerman Family Vineyards commercial wines in 2003. Stonehaven Vineyard received the first organic vineyard certification in Coombsville in 2009. Ackerman Family Vineyards wines are available at The Aviary, their tasting room in a restored carriage house at the Ackerman Heritage House at 608 Randolph Street in Downtown Napa, online, and in select US markets.
