TricorBraun WinePak, the largest distributor of wine glass in North America, just got bigger.
Earlier this month, the company announced the acquisition of Trilogy Glass and Packaging, Inc., a Sonoma County supplier of wine industry packaging since 2004.
The move more than doubles TricorBraun WinePak’s sales force – and comes right on the heels of the company’s move to a newly-automated repack distribution facility in Fairfield, CA that expands its warehouse capacity by at least 65 percent.
“Combining two great companies, both with successful histories in the wine packaging industry, has expanded our capabilities beyond sourcing and supplying,” says WinePak Senior Vice President Andrew Bottene.
Mr. Bottene is enthusiastic about WinePak’s move from Benicia to the new, state-of-the-art repackaging facility in Fairfield, which allows for the automatic conversion from bulk layered pallets of glass to 12-pak cases into content or custom cases.
