Worms to Wine: The Flavor of Compost – Workshop

Dig into the living foundation of our farm in this hands-on composting workshop led by Michael, our Soil Keeper, and Andrew, our Farm Manager. Together, they’ll guide you through the unseen world beneath our feet—where microbes, worms, and organic matter work in concert to build healthy soil and shape the flavors we grow.
This three-hour experience blends short classroom time with hands-on practice on the farm, offering practical tools and ecological insight you can apply at home or on your own land. Along the way, you’ll taste two of our estate, award-winning wines, exploring how aromatics influenced by living soils are expressed in the glass—and how thoughtful composting connects directly to flavor.
Rooted in the same composting practices we continually adapt as we listen to the needs of our own farm, this workshop invites you to slow down, ask questions, and experience where our wines truly begin.
