Dig deep into Piemonte’s impressive DOCG Roero Arneis and Roero Nebbiolo paired with traditional handcrafted salumi

The Roero wine-growing area is on the left side of the Tanaro River while the other two appellations are on the right. Nebbiolo grows in the Roero too but the wines it produces are distinctly different due to the territory’s age, soil, and unique topography. Roero is also home to a very rare and distinctive white grape called Arneis which is native to this area and, like Nebbiolo, able to showcase its complex terroir in wine.
In this seminar we will taste ten Roero DOCG wines — 5 Arneis and 5 Nebbiolo — in different styles (including Riserva and MGAs) and from different subareas of the appellation. We will also savor artisanal salumi curated by the Istituto Valorizzazione Salumi Italiani (IVSI).
Seating is limited– for trade only; please register as soon as possible at alan.r.tardi@gmail.com
