Clonal Field Day

Join us at 9 AM for a tour guided by our experienced field reps, who will review and discuss specific grape varieties and clones, and their benefits. The tour is followed by a complimentary lunch and wine tasting, featuring wines off the ranch and of some specific clones.
The Duarte Georgetown vineyard is located in the beautiful mountains of El Dorado County, and boasts a rich, red soil like no other. It hosts 220 acres of wine grapes and has been in production since 2002. Owned by John and Alexandra Duarte, it’s location and management provide the best example of every grape variety grown there.
For early varieties such as Merlot, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chardonnay and Grenache, come to our September 22 event. Later varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Syrah, will be best showcased on our October 27 event.
