An Evening with Winemaker Artie Johnson of Le Artishasic
February 6 @ 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm PST
We are thrilled to welcome February by honoring Black History Month and celebrating the exceptional artistry and stories that enrich our community. This week, we are delighted to host two vibrant events that promise inspiration, connection, and superb taste.
Please join us in our brand-new Spectator Wine Education Center for a very special tasting.
A bit about Artie:
A fifth-generation Texan, Artie attended the prestigious Kinkaid School in Houston before enrolling at the University of Texas McCombs School of Business and playing centerfield for the Longhorn baseball team. His food and wine journey began in Austin’s Fourth Street Warehouse district before leading him to roles at New York City’s Nobu and as the Wine & Beverage Director at Miami Beach’s Casa Casuarina (The Versace Mansion).
His Napa career began at Harlan Estate, followed by a role as Director of Hospitality at historic Mayacamas Vineyards. In 2015, Artie founded Le Artishasic Winery as proprietor and winemaker, crafting high-quality, handmade, site-driven wines with a mission to capture California’s diverse terroir. The winery’s name, Le Artishasic, is derived from a beautiful combination of his family’s names—Artie III, Shannon, and Sicily—honoring them in every bottle.
“Wine for serious wine drinkers, highly aromatic… the wines really sing on the palate.”
Please bring 5-6 different glassware to fully appreciate the tasting. Spit cups will be provided.
