November 19, 2024 (Sonoma County, CA) — Rack & Riddle was recognized earlier this month by the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) at its 20th Annual ACG Growth Awards, held at the Salesforce Tower on November 7 in San Francisco. Rack & Riddle won the top award for Innovation.
The only company from the wine industry honored this year, Rack & Riddle was chosen as one of four winners from six finalists, meticulously selected from a pool of 38 nominees. Rack & Riddle received the honor in large measure from its use of robotics and cutting-edge technology to facilitate its growth and employment opportunities for its staff.
Rack & Riddle Co-Founder and CEO Bruce Lundquist, who accepted the prestigious 2024 ACG Growth Award for Innovation, expressed his gratitude, saying, “It was an honor to be nominated, and a testament to the vision for California sparkling wine that Rebecca Faust and I shared when we co-founded the company in 2007. This award not only acknowledges our commitment to innovation but also celebrates the hard work and dedication of our entire team. We are deeply grateful for this recognition and proud to stand alongside such an impressive group of nominees.”
According to ACG, nominated companies have an interesting success story and award criteria include profit growth, outstanding performance, strategic positioning, clarity of market position, well-defined product and services, organizational effectiveness and structure, well-trained staff with high morale committed to mission, dynamic leadership, and an active Board pursuing a clear strategic direction.
The other three winning companies this year were: Boichik Bagels (Emerging Growth); BPM LLP (Culture); and Ladle & Leaf (Turnaround). Past winners include Torani, Equator Coffee & Teas, PopChips, LinkedIn and Method Products.
