New Program Includes In-Home Tastings, Pouring Events and Reimagined Wine Club Options to Meet People Where They Are
Dundee Hills, OR– Nov. 14, 2024 – Sokol Blosser Winery, a family-owned legacy winery in Willamette Valley, is launching a new “Sokol Blosser Comes to You” initiative to reach new customers. New activations include in-home tastings and tasting events for corporate gatherings and a presence at major events across the greater Portland area.
“Innovation is part of our DNA,” said Sokol Blosser CEO Alex Sokol Blosser. “Everyone knows how challenging the environment is right now, and instead of waiting for customers to come to us, we’re taking the show on the road, meeting people where they are, bringing our winery experience to the people at private parties, corporate gatherings and popular festivals and other events. We’re excited about it!”
The “Sokol Blosser Comes to You” Initiative Includes:
Wine Service at Private Parties
Let Sokol Blosser handle the wine at your next event, from a birthday or anniversary party to a reunion, company gathering, or holiday party. Party hosts can purchase Sokol Blosser wines at a discount and hire a Sokol Blosser tasting room associate to turn any counter top or table into a wine bar your guests will be talking about for days.
Private Wine Tasting Experiences
The Sokol Blosser team will curate a personalized guided tasting for 10 to 50 guests at your home. They’ll work with you to create a flight of wines your guests will love, and they’ll bring the glassware, and of course, the wines and stories behind them for a fun, immersive experience. Book through the end of the year for a 50% discount on fees. Bonus: guests can purchase wines at a 10% discount, and even join one of Sokol Blosser’s wine clubs if they like.
Tastings at Local Events
Sokol Blosser is hitting the road, pouring wines (and selling bottles when and where permitted) across the Portland area this season:
– The Art of Holiday Hosting at The Joinery in downtown Portland on Nov. 2
– The Portland Holiday Market Nov. 15-17
– Portland Meat & Cheese Festival on Nov. 23
– The “Deck the Hills” holiday tasting at Erath Urban Tasting Room on Dec. 7

New Wine Club Options
Sokol Blosser’s new Blanc Club launched in April 2024 to meet the growing demand for white wines. The club now has more than 120 members (many of whom were on the cusp of cancelling another Sokol Blosser wine club membership because of preferences for white and sparkling wines.)
Last year, Sokol Blosser also launched its “Trio Club,” as an easy on-ramp to wine club membership. The Trio Club offers three shipments of three bottles per year. That club now has more than 200 members.
“We’ve had really strong enthusiasm from our wine club members lately,” added Sokol Blosser. “Visitation by wine club members is up by nearly 20% and engagement is higher than its ever been. We are deeply grateful for and inspired by the continued support of our wine club members.”
