Orange Glou Wine Fair

The Orange Glou Wine Fair, the only wine fair in North America dedicated exclusively to orange wine, returns to New York City on November 3 (two sessions: 11am-2:30pm and 3pm-6pm). Launched by orange wine expert Doreen Winkler, natural wine sommelier and founder of Orange Glou wine club and store in NYC, it will feature over 100 wines from Austria, Italy and Slovenia.

The Orange Glou Fair will showcase a wide spectrum of orange (aka skin-contact) wines, which are soaring in popularity with consumers right now. Made with white grapes but like reds with the grape skins left in contact with the juice for a period of time after pressing, orange wines can range from fresh and light to textured and dark amber in color. Orange Glou Fair attendees will be able to meet winemakers and learn about maceration styles, plus take home an Orange Glou tasting glass. Participating wineries include Austria’s Gut Oggau, Franz Strohmeier, Christian Tschida, Georg Schmelzer, Weingut Maria & Sepp Muster; Italy’s Franco Terpin, Alessandro Viola, Frank Cornelissen, Podere Pradarolo, Cantina Giardino, La Stoppa, Cantina Indigeno, Foradori, Marco di Bartoli; Slovenia’s Božidar Zorjan, Blažič, Keltis, Guerila, Kabaj; plus from wines neighbors Croatia (Tomac) and Bosnia & Herzegovina (Skegro) from wine importers Scuola di Vino, Zev Rovine Selections, Vinum, Jenny & Francois, Bowler Wines and Louis Dressner Selections.

The 2024 New York City Orange Glou Fair partners are Austrian Wine, S.Pellegrino, Onyx Coffee Lab and Ravenscroft Crystal.
