Cusumano Winery Unveils New Packaging Design for Monovarietal Wines

The redesign includes a bottle transition and vibrant, refreshed colors

LAKE BLUFF, IL (October 2, 2024) – Cusumano Winery is proud to introduce a premium packaging refresh for its Monovarietal wines. The winery, based outside of Palermo, has been crafting terroir-driven wines from vineyards across Sicily for over twenty years, and the redesign brings a bold new look to their Monovarietal line.

The design features a transition to a Burgundy-style bottle, with large, clear appellation callouts and vibrant, saturated colors. The updates align with Cusumano’s commitment to producing exceptional wines that showcase Sicily’s diverse and distinctive terroirs. The rich colors and prominent lettering convey the winery’s terroir-driven approach to winemaking and underscore Cusumano’s ongoing dedication to crafting wines with minimal intervention from 100% estate-grown, hand-harvested fruit.

“Our new packaging is a tribute to the essence of each varietal and the land from which it originates,” sys Diego Cusumano, co-owner of the winery with his brother Alberto. “We wanted the design to reflect the passion that goes into every bottle, while also making a bold statement about the quality and character of Sicilian wines.”

The new labels will debut with the 2022 releases of Nero d’Avola Sicilia DOCSyrah Terre Siciliane IGT, and Merlot Terre Siciliane IGT, as well as the 2023 release of Insolia Terre Siciliane IGT, each retailing at SRP $19.
