Star Wine List Celebrates the Top Wine Lists in the Baltics

August 23, 2024 — On 15 September, the international wine guide Star Wine List will celebrate the great wine lists of the Baltic countries for the second time, in Riga, together with the Latvian Sommelier Championship. The expert jury has now decided the finalists.

Star Wine List of the Year is the celebration of the great wine lists across the world and the teams behind them. In the Baltics, the prize is awarded in nine categories, and the winners in many of those will also qualify for the International Final in June 2025. The jury has now finished deliberating, and the finalists have been selected.
“The development of the wine scene in the Baltic countries is amazing, and many top sommeliers have Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania as their home. We can’t wait to go to Riga for the first time with our celebration, our second in the region,” said Krister Bengtsson, founder and publisher of Star Wine List.
