announced today that its 2021 Andorinha Touriga has been honored once again, this time
with the prestigious Wine Enthusiast Editor’s Choice award, accompanied by an
impressive score of 92 points. Additionally, its 2021 Umunhum Touriga Porto has been
awarded an outstanding 93 points. Adding to the list of accolades, Alamitos 2023 “Laura’s
Love” Rose’ has also been recognized as a hidden gem, in addition to winning Gold at the
Drink Pink Rose’ competition earlier this summer.
Alamitos Vineyards only opened its tasting room in 2021, and in that short time has been
honored with over 23 awards including Editors Choice, Best of Class, and five Gold and
Double-Golds. The Wine Enthusiast Editor’s Choice award is a highly coveted recognition
within the industry, reserved for wines that demonstrate exceptional quality, character, and
value. The impressive scores of 92 and 93 points for the 2021 Andorinha Touriga and
Umunhum Touriga Porto, respectively, further solidify Alamitos’ position as a producer of
world-class wines.
