July 1st, 2024 — Black Kite Cellars, a family-owned boutique producer of site-specific Pinot Noir and Chardonnay primarily from Sonoma County’s ocean-kissed, coastal appellations, is excited to welcome dogs to the property for Pooches & Pinot, Friday, July 12 – Sunday, July 14, 2024. Furry friends are constant companions, so why leave them at home while you have all the fun? As the summer heats up and the temperatures rise inland, head out to the Sonoma Coast, where temperatures are generally 20 degrees cooler.

Located just seven miles from the Pacific Ocean’s coastline, Jasper House is Black Kite Cellars’ newly opened wine tasting room in Freestone, California, and is a welcome retreat for any traveler seeking an adventure off-the-beaten path, and perfect for those traveling between the inland Sonoma County areas to the dog friendly beaches along Bodega Bay.

Black Kite Cellars’ Jasper House is designed to reflect the breezy, bohemian, laid-back vibe of the rugged yet inviting California coast. It offers a truly unique tasting experience: Black Kite Cellars is the only wine producer with a tasting room in the Freestone Historic District – a charming, blink-and-you-miss-it kind of hamlet.

And of course, there will be plenty of water for the thirsty four-legged pals.
