June 26th – Trivento, the leading Argentinean wine brand globally, is celebrating several exceptional medal and trophy results in the most recent wine competitions.
Awards have been given across the Trivento range, but most notably for their super-premium Golden Reserve Malbec 2022. At the International Wine Challenge (IWC) it won the Lujan de Cuyo Trophy for the best Malbec from that region. At the Decanter Awards it was awarded Gold and 95 points – one of only 8 Argentinean Malbecs to be so honoured.
Trivento are also celebrating high scores and medals for both their Private Reserve Malbec 2023 (Gold and 95 points) and the market-leading Reserve Malbec 2023 (Silver and 94 points) at the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC).
Magdalena Viani, who makes the Golden Reserve Malbec, says
“Each vintage of this Malbec from Lujan de Cuyo is a journey of learning and discovery. The 2022 was exceptional and will be etched in our history. Golden Malbec has been Trivento’s treasure, and today, more than ever, it represents the excellence that sets us apart.”
Trivento is the UK’s leading Argentinean wine brand, and Trivento Reserve Malbec is the best-selling red wine in the country. Golden Reserve Malbec, which retails at £16, is seeing phenomenal growth of over 64% in value and is now worth over £5 Million in retail sales value (RSV).
Senior marketing manager for Trivento in the UK, Preety Johl, says
“It’s an amazing performance by Trivento across the three leading wine competitions globally. We’re particularly excited about Golden Reserve Malbec, which is really establishing itself as a leading super-premium red wine across many retailers. With Trivento, the wine consumer can see that the extra few pounds spent on a more premium Malbec is well worth the investment in terms of a step up in quality.”
