The Walla Walla Valley‘s tenth signature wine event will focus on Cabernet Sauvignon this July with tastings, educational events, winemaker dinners and MORE!
WALLA WALLA, WA (March 13, 2024) – Walla Walla Valley Wine is thrilled to announce the schedule of events for the Celebrate Walla Walla Valley Wine Festival, happening from July 11-13, 2024. This year is particularly special as the event commemorates the 40th anniversary of the Walla Walla Valley’s designation as an American Viticultural Area (AVA), a milestone that marks four decades of extraordinary winemaking and viticultural excellence.
As one of the premier wine events in the Northwest, this year’s festival will spotlight Cabernet Sauvignon, the region’s most widely grown and celebrated variety. The festival will offer attendees a unique opportunity to explore and savor the depth and complexity of Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon through an array of exceptional events. This year’s line-up includes:
Vintage Pour Library Tasting: A curated selection of Walla Walla Valley’s finest Cabernet Sauvignon and other varietals from the most notable vintages of 2014 and prior, showcasing the aging potential and evolution of our wines.
Grand Tasting Event: The largest gathering of Walla Walla Valley wineries under one roof on the east side of the state, providing an unparalleled opportunity to taste the best of what our Valley has to offer, all in one place.
Collaborative Winemaker Dinners: An intimate fusion of exquisite cuisine and fine wines, where renowned local chefs and Walla Walla Valley winemakers come together to create unforgettable dining experiences. Wineries, chefs and locations will be announced in April 2024.
Wine Panel Presentation & Tasting: A unique platform featuring six distinguished winemakers from around the globe – including three from our very own Walla Walla Valley, and guests from Napa Valley, California, Bordeaux, France, and Italy. Attendees will have the rare chance to hear these winemakers share their insights and stories, followed by tastings of their exceptional wines.
