Top 10 Wine Values of the Year List Revealed at WineSpectator.com

New York, NY (January 12, 2024)Wine Spectator, the world’s leading authority on wine, today unveiled its Top 10 Wine Values of 2023, with La Crema Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2021 taking top honors as the Wine Value of the Year. With more than 200,000 cases produced, this widely available wine, made by the company behind America’s best-selling California Chardonnay, costs only $28 and was ranked 91 points by Wine Spectator.

Spotlighting the best-priced wines of the year, the list features bottles that are rated 90 points or higher on Wine Spectator’s 100-point scale, cost $40 or less and are made in large-enough quantities to be widely available.

“This year marks the third annual announcement of our Wine Value of the Year. While this award is a recent addition compared with the long-standing Wine of the Year and Top 100 honors we initiated in 1988, it has quickly become popular with readers and wine drinkers from all walks of life,” said Marvin R. Shanken, editor and publisher, Wine Spectator. “I think our readers will be pleasantly surprised by the diversity of the wines on this year’s list and some of the prestigious regions that are represented.”
