Healdsburg, CA, December 4, 2023 – Wine Industry Network (WIN) hosted the 11th Annual North Coast Wine Industry Trade Show & Conference (WIN Expo) at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds and Event Center on Thursday, November 30.
Known as the largest trade show and conference focused on the North Coast, the WIN Expo provided 13 informational sessions focused on Strategy & Leadership, Winemaking, Sales & Marketing and Vineyard & Growers. All four tracks featured interactive sessions to facilitate greater subject immersion, insights and value for the attendees, as expert panels of industry thought leaders and innovators shared their ideas, information and predictions to help better prepare for the coming year.
The event featured a trade show that hosted nearly 300 exhibitors showcasing the latest products and services available and educational conference sessions, as well as additional attendee attractions. These included an outdoor equipment showcase, afternoon networking social, trial wine-tasting stations and a live event broadcast hosted by KSVY 93.1FM featuring interviews with conference speakers, attendees, exhibitors and the 2023 WINnovation Award winners.
This year, attendance grew 9.12% from 2022. While the majority of the attendees came from Sonoma and Napa, there were 23% of attendees from other parts of California and 3.7% from other states and countries.
“Even though this was the 11th annual WIN Expo, in a lot of ways, it had the same level of excitement and enthusiasm that we experienced at the first show in 2012 — if not more,” said Wine Industry Network President/CEO George Christie. “It’s that positive energy from our attendees, speakers and exhibitors that makes the Expo the most anticipated and well attended event for wine industry professionals in the North Coast. We’re already talking about what we can do next year to top this!”
