NOVEMBER 7: TURNER, OR – Willamette Valley Vineyards (NASDAQ: WVVIP), a leading Oregon producer of Pinot Noir, launches a new stock offering after overselling an offering that ended on September 30.
The original offering raised $3.53 million to support the winery’s expansion with a new tasting room in Bend, Oregon, and new vineyard plantings. Wine enthusiasts oversubscribed to the original offering, prompting the winery to create a second offering to raise $1.4 million.
“The oversubscription of more than $800,000 in Preferred Stock we received was unexpected and unprecedented,” said founder and CEO Jim Bernau. “This new SEC filing allows these wine enthusiasts to become owners in our vineyards, wineries and new tasting room restaurants like our location opening this December in Bend.”
The minimum purchase is 300 shares ($1,455) and the maximum purchase is 5,000 shares ($24,250). The offer will end December 31, 2023. Priority to become an Owner is given to wine enthusiasts who will support their investment as Wine Club Members or use their dividend as a wine credit. More information about the stock offering can be found here.
This new offering prioritizes those who oversubscribed in the previous round, ensuring they have the first opportunity to participate. It is open to all wine enthusiasts eager to join Willamette’s growing community of stockholders.
In addition to its Willamette Valley appellation Pinot Noir, the winery produces small batches from the Dundee Hills, Tualatin Hills, Eola-Amity Hills, the Oregon side of the Walla Walla Valley, The Rocks District of Milton-Freewater, Umpqua Valley, Rogue Valley and Eldorado Hills in California.
With wineries, tasting rooms and restaurants located throughout the region – including the Salem Hills, Dundee Hills, Forest Grove, McMinnville, Lake Oswego, Happy Valley and the Vancouver Waterfront, Willamette Valley Vineyards has built a robust community of wine enthusiast investors.
The winery’s newest location is scheduled to open in December on Wall Street in historic downtown Bend.
