OLE Health Foundation Announces Annual Fundraiser Vida OLE, May 18 – 21, 2023

Napa Valley luminaries, vintners and business leaders come together to raise money to support healthcare for Napa Valley’s agricultural and hospitality workers

May 1, 2023, Napa, CA – OLE Health Foundation Board of Directors announces the dates for Vida OLE, May 18-21, 2023, the annual fundraising event benefiting Napa County’s only network of community health centers. The weekend is highlighted by a luxury auction and dinner at one of the Napa Valley’s iconic winery estates, Sullivan Rutherford Estate. The weekend of memorable events in idyllic Napa Valley settings provides crucial support for the vital work of OLE Health, which delivers comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to the essential workers that drive Napa’s economic engine.

“For five decades, OLE Health has been the safety net for our community’s workforce, committed to providing the highest quality healthcare to everyone regardless of their ability to pay,” said Darioush Khaledi, OLE Health Foundation Board Chair. “This weekend celebrates and raises money for this work and the individuals who make Napa Valley a world-class wine region and travel destination.”

Vida OLE kicks off on Thursday, May 18 with the invitation-only Visionaries Luncheon at Wappo Hill generously hosted by Jean-Charles Boisset and Gina Gallo to honor and recognize those whose support over the past five decades has played a key role in fulfilling OLE Health’s mission to ensuring quality healthcare for everyone who lives and works in Napa Valley. Invited guests will be treated to a luxurious luncheon replete with a lavish culinary experience paired with exquisite wines.

On Friday, May 19, a series of intimate vintner dinners will be held at some of the most celebrated wineries in Napa, including Darioush and Louis M. Martini. Each will also feature stories from OLE Health’s Medical Directors who serve on the front line caring for our community’s farmworkers, essential workers, senior citizens, children, and other vulnerable populations.

On Saturday, May 20, Sullivan Rutherford Estate will host the centerpiece of the weekend, a dinner and auction. Sullivan’s sumptuous wines will generously flow and be paired with a curated three-course dinner designed by the culinary team at Meadowood Napa Valley. Noted auctioneer Fritz Hatton will lead a lively auction of intriguing lots consisting of once-in-a-lifetime experiences, luxurious getaways, sporting excursions, memorable dinners, rare wines, and more. The evening will be punctuated by an energetic performance by GRAMMY Award-winning band Ozomatli. Known as much for their activism and farmworker advocacy as their wide array of musical styles, the six-person Los Angeles-based band wowed the crowd last year and is back by popular demand.

Capping off the festivities will be a farewell brunch on Sunday, May 21, hosted by Sinegal Estate Winery. Guests will experience a little taste of Paris in the Napa Valley with chef-prepared cuisine inspired by the city of lights, take part in a friendly game of Boule, and enjoy the sounds of French duo Rue Manouche while sipping on Sinegal’s award-winning wines.

Proceeds from Vida will support OLE Health’s programs and services, such as its Mobile Health initiative, which provides care for Napa Valley’s workforce out in the community, including farmworkers, restaurant staff, and hospitality workers. Registration ranges from the all-inclusive Weekend Pass at $2,500 per person ($1850 tax-deductible), to a la carte tickets to the Vida OLE Dinner & Auction at $1,000 per person ($750 tax deductible). Table (10 ppl) sponsorships are available at $15,000.
