UNITED STATES (U.S.) – Célébrez en Rosé wine and music festival wrapped up its four-city tour in 2022, with over 21,000 total guests attending the picnic-style concept in its two returning and two new markets this summer.
The festival made its third appearance in both Atlanta and Washington, D.C., with the May 7 event in Atlanta attracting over 4,000 attendees, followed by D.C. on June 11, which sold out weeks in advance to a crowd of 8,000. Organizers also celebrated successful debuts in Houston on May 28 with over 3,000 tickets sold, and in Chicago, which culminated this year’s series, attracting approximately 6,000 rosé lovers on June 25.
Since its founding in 2018 in Atlanta, Célébrez en Rosé (French for “Celebrate in Pink”) has continued to grow in popularity and attendance through its renowned entertainment lineups, celebrity guests, share-worthy photo installations, high fashion, gourmet catering options, luxurious VIP experiences, and more.
This year’s roster featured its most impressive music lineup to date, with headliner Robin Thicke at all four events, alongside several other legendary artists, including Mýa, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Tamia, and local DJs and bands who rounded out the shows in each city.
Célébrez en Rosé 2022 was proud to exclusively feature Black-owned wine brands from three marquee companies – La Fête Wine Company, McBride Sisters Black Girl Magic Wines, and Michael Lavelle Wines – with over 20,000 bottles sold across the four events. This year’s champagne sponsor was G.H. Mumm.
In addition to the premium rosé wine, champagne, and cocktails, attendees were also treated to a variety of delicious food pairings with VIP lunch packages from celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck and local food truck vendors representative of each of the four city’s unique cuisine and culture.
“We knew the potential these four markets held when we first decided to expand in 2022, but we never could have imagined the overwhelming response and welcome it would receive, both from our guests and the surrounding communities,” said Cleveland Spears, III, Célébrez en Rosé Executive Producer and CEO of the Spears Group. “We are most excited about our ability to provide a platform for other Black-owned businesses and partnering with local groups to host job fairs and employ hundreds of workers at each stop, generating widespread economic impacts. Our team created the canvas, but all four cities fully embraced and made the concept their own, resulting in something truly unique and beautiful. We’re so grateful for their support and look forward to coming back bigger and better in 2023.”
