Jonathan G Bomberg, Head Winemaker at RGNY
A seasoned winemaker with extensive experience working the land, Jonathan was born and raised in a small town in Wisconsin and has had ties to the farming community throughout their adolescence. Possessing a strong propensity for the sciences, they attended the University of California-Davis and graduated with a degree in viticulture and enology. Having spent time making wine in Russian River and Napa, their love of cool climate wines led them to Sonoma County, working with a wide range of varietals from vine to bottle. After ten years of winemaking in California, Jonathan made the natural transition to the North Fork, a logical next step in their exploration of cool climate wine production. As a member of the RGNY team, working the land and helping to curate unparalleled guest experiences through wine, they are especially excited about the opportunity to produce a range of sparkling wines and high acid expressions of Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc.
