Muscardini Cellars Announces Out of the Ordinary Tasting Experiences

KENWOOD, CA (August 18, 2020) – Let’s face it – everyone is a little stir crazy and is looking for creative “out of the box” activities to do safely at home and in the outdoors. It’s been a blessing that most of the wineries in California have been able to continue operating throughout the summer season by hosting visitors safely outdoors. The team at Muscardini Cellars has developed curated tasting experiences that go beyond the typical wine tasting and instead, are offering an immersion of the senses.

Muscardini is open, ready to serve, and excited to see everyone. The team could not be more thrilled to host these unique wine tasting experiences in the beauty of Sonoma Valley and sharing the amazing limited-production wines in the serene backyard.

The new “Explore Your Senses” tasting experience ($30) is now available by appointment daily both at the tasting room and at home virtually. And should one be joining in virtually, gather colleagues, friends, or family wherever they may be and enjoy this interactive virtual tasting experience right from home.

Every varietal has certain classic aroma and palate characteristics, but depending on where the grape is grown, only certain ones will be coerced forth in the resulting wine. Test ones senses by exploring the tasting notes of each wine as you sense it and then try to match each of the carefully constructed sensory jars to the wine it was designed to represent to see how your sense of smell stacks up.

If purchasing this sensory tasting kit to be shipped and enjoyed at home, the kit includes 4 signature wines, 4 customized sensory jars, and a downloadable placemat to host this experience at home. Visit the website to purchase the “Explore Your Senses” tasting kit and to book the tasting experience virtually or at Muscardini Cellars.

The “All Things Italian” tasting experience ($45) is a showcase of what Muscardini Cellars is all about. Michael Muscardini, 2nd generation Italian winemaker, produces more than just wine. Muscardini Cellars invites everyone to join in for the most elevated tasting experience featuring everything one may find on a traditional Italian table.

What grows together, goes together. At Muscardini Cellars, they celebrate wine as food and as the completion to a meal, which is why they are excited to present their Italian-centric elevated tasting experience. This unique pairing will walk guests through an understanding of wines that truly set the Italian table by way of the Vermouth aperitivo, several current release and library wines, and one of the digestivo Grappas. And while no Italian meal would be complete without salumi, olive oil and cheese, explore the wine-infused salumi made using Pete Seghesio’s Journeyman Meats and the local fruity and spicy olive oil in conversation with select Muscardini wines that just may make one rethink how to set an Italian table!

For a taste of Muscardini’s Italian-style wines at home, purchase the Italian 3-pack, wine-infused salumi, and hand-crafted olive oil from the website.

Muscardini Cellars is doing their part to maintain a safe environment for your visit. Please be sure to wear a face covering, practice social distancing, and wash hands during the visit. Hand sanitizer is located around the property. Muscardini Cellars currently requires all guests to make reservations. Same-day reservations will be accepted if there is availability.
