30 Livermore Valley Wineries to Host Labor Day Weekend Festivities
The Livermore Valley Harvest Wine Celebration is set for Labor Day Weekend on Sunday, September 1, 2019. The popular festival will follow the traditional format of local wineries showcasing Livermore Valley wine, food, art, crafts and music for ticket holders—30 wineries will welcome festival goers this year. Guests will experience the true personality of each winery through its wines, people, architecture and activities. Most wineries will honor event wristbands for free tasting on Monday as well. Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 at the event. Visit www.LVwine.org for tickets and details.
From 12pm to 5pm on Sunday, September 1, 2018, local wineries will host festivities at their tasting rooms across Livermore Valley. All locations will offer wine tasting and a fun combination of fresh food vendors, local artisans and festive music. Guests should check www.LVwine.org for details on the offerings of each participating winery. Highlights include:
- Cool off with Frozé (frozen rosé) at Embodied Wines
- Learn how to cast a fly-fishing rod at Caddis
- Taste wine still in development, directly from the barrel at el Sol Winery and Mitchell Katz Winery
- Nella Terra Cellars and Elliston Vineyards will be pouring their wines at Fenestra Winery
