Benefiting Cope Family Center
Country-Themed Fundraiser Features Live Music, Local Food & Wine, and Auction to Support Child Abuse Prevention in Napa County

July 6, 2026 (Napa, CA) — Napa County Supervisor Liz Alessio is excited to announce that Cope Family Center, a Family Resource Center in downtown Napa known for their child abuse prevention services, has been selected as the beneficiary of her 6th Annual Harvest Hoedown. This upscale fundraising event will take place Saturday, August 8th at 5:00pm at Burgess Cellars.
Nashville powerhouse Morgan Myles will headline the evening, bringing her acclaimed country vocals to Napa Valley. The event will also feature cuisine from Chef Pat Burke, BBQ by Dave James, and exceptional silent and live auctions showcasing premium wine, local excursions, and international experiences.
“We’re grateful to Supervisor Alessio for choosing Cope as this year’s beneficiary,” said Jeni Olsen, Executive Director of Cope Family Center. “Families across Napa County are navigating real challenges right now, including rising costs of living, immigration fears, and mental health struggles. The Harvest Hoedown will raise critical funds so parents can access the support they need to create safe, stable, and nurturing homes for their children.”
For more than 54 years, Cope Family Center has been a trusted first stop for Napa County families — offering a continuum of support through the Family Support Hub, Parenting Classes, Home Visiting, and Advocacy for child abuse prevention. In 2025, Cope served nearly 1,600 parents raising more than 2,000 children and provided almost $35,000 in emergency aid.
“The best way to prevent child abuse is to support parents before a crisis occurs,” explained Olsen. “The demands of parenting and the challenges of life can be overwhelming, and without support, a parent’s struggles can negatively impact their children. Every ticket purchased will help connect families with the resources and guidance they need, when they need it, so all Napa County families can give their children safe and healthy futures.”
The Harvest Hoedown has become one of Napa County’s premier fundraising events. Early bird tickets are available for $225 until July 17th, with regular admission $250 thereafter. Corporate sponsorships and tables are also available.
