WASHINGTON, D.C. — March 31st, 2025 — The United Sommeliers Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Suzanne Denevan-Brown, Estate Director at Maze Row Wine Merchant, to its Board of Directors. Suzanne brings a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to the wine and spirits industry, and her appointment marks a significant step forward in the Foundation’s mission to strengthen its impact on the wine community.

As a new board member, I aim to build upon the legacy of service established in its first five years and contribute my business management skills to ensure USF remains a trusted community resource in times of crisis. In her role as Estate Director at Maze Row Wine Merchant, Suzanne leads she manages the marketing strategy and execution for 11 partner Estates, driving market share growth and enhancing brand equity. She is also the publisher of VOICES magazine, a bi-annual publication that explores the intersection of wine and culture. With nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, Suzanne has honed expertise in supply chain, distribution, advertising, promotion, media, and experiential marketing. Her track record includes creating innovative and impactful marketing programs that engage and inspire both customers and consumers alike. Suzanne holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing, and certifications as a Certified Specialist of Spirits, Certified Sommelier WSET Level 3, and Certified Specialist of Wine. Her commitment to continuous learning and professional development reflects her strong dedication to the craft and her desire to shape the future of the wine industry.
