Wine Industry Leader Kerrin Laz Announces Sixth Annual Inspire Napa Valley Spring Wine Weekend

Three-Day Wine, Culinary and Educational Weekend Continues to Raise Critical Funds and Awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association

February 26, 2025 (YOUNTVILLE, Calif.) — Wine industry expert Kerrin Laz, founder and proprietor of K. LAZ WINE COLLECTION, announced today that the sixth annual Inspire Napa Valley fundraiser will take place April 25–27, 2025. In partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, the three-day event in the heart of Napa Valley brings together wine connoisseurs and industry leaders to raise funds and awareness to advance Alzheimer’s and dementia research and enhance care and support services for impacted families. Since 2018, Inspire Napa Valley events have raised more than $7.5 million for the Alzheimer’s Association’s care, support, and research programs.

Alongside Honorary Committee members, including executive wine editor of Food & Wine magazine Ray Isle, Vinous Founder Antonio Galloni, and Bryant Wines proprietor Bettina Bryant, Laz and Inspire Napa Valley will offer guests a unique opportunity to mingle with Napa Valley’s most renowned vintners and winemakers. The weekend’s list of events and participants is as follows:

  • Friday, April 25: The weekend will kick off with an intimate, one-of-a-kind VIP Rutherford Neighborhood Block Party at historic Inglenook featuring winery co-hosts from Scarecrow, Morisoli Vineyard, Bella Oaks, Staglin Family Vineyard, and Inglenook. Guests will enjoy their rare wines alongside a quintessential wine country dinner, crafted by top winemakers, vintners and viticulturists, and industry luminaries while mingling with the Rutherford vintner and winemaker co-hosts.
  • Saturday, April 26 (morning): The weekend will continue with a VIP Alzheimer’s Research Update & Wine Seminar at Beringer Vineyards. Following the Alzheimer’s research update by Alzheimer’s Association Chief Science Officer and Medical Affairs Lead, Dr. Maria Carrillo, Vinous founder Antonio Galloni will moderate an in-depth discussion on the Rutherford AVA, featuring a distinguished panel that includes Ray Isle, Executive Wine Editor of Food & Wine magazine.
  • Saturday, April 26 (evening): The Main Event will commence with a walk-around wine tasting at Louis Martini Winery showcasing over 35 of the most exclusive wineries in California with culinary stations. The Main Event kicks off with a walk-around wine tasting at Louis Martini Winery, featuring over 35 of California’s most exclusive wineries, paired with culinary stations crafted by top Napa Valley chefs. Iconic wineries like Screaming Eagle, Bryant Estate, Eisele Vineyard, Grace Family Vineyards, and Spottswoode Winery will be joined by exciting newcomers such as Kinsman Eades, Annulus Cellars, MOWE Napa Valley, Pulido-Walker, and VHR-Vine Hill Ranch. Select top wineries from Sonoma and Paso Robles will also participate in support of the cause.
  • The evening will continue with a seated wine country dinner and conclude with Inspire Napa Valley’s signature live auction and paddle raise.
  • Sunday, April 27: The weekend tops off with a VIP Farewell Brunch at Thomas Keller’s Ad Hoc + Addendum, featuring fried chicken and waffles supplemented by offerings from the restaurant’s signature bloody mary and mimosa bar.

Nearly 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s. In California alone, there are more than 719,700 people aged 65 and older with the disease. Additionally, more than 11 million people serve as Alzheimer’s caregivers, including more than 1.3 million Californians providing unpaid care to a loved one with the as-yet incurable disease.
