TWO ASSORTMENT CASES OF ROMANÉE-CONTI SOLD FOR CHF 85,400 EACH
February 24, 2025 (Geneva) — For its very first live-streamed online auction of 2025, Baghera/wines brought together its community of aficionados for a Kipling online sale, “At Home: A Journey Through the World of French Grands Crus.” The collection of fine wines was designed to enrich the winter season. The sale, held on February 21, attracted collectors from around the world, totalling CHF 1,119,374, with over 91% of the 404 lots offered being sold.

With the “At Home” sale, Baghera/wines offered a unique selection of French Grands Crus, showcasing iconic estates and rare vintages. The collection featured exceptional wines from the most prestigious regions of France, including Burgundy, Bordeaux, the Rhône Valley, and Champagne. Stars of the sale, two assortment cases of Romanée-Conti, one from 1999 and the other from 1985, presented in their original wooden cases, captured all the attention, each being sold for CHF 85,400.
