Gamble Estates Announces 20th Anniversary Rebrand

The Napa Valley estate winery’s updated name and packaging boldly announce a new chapter for the multigenerational Napa family

Napa Valley, CA (February 20, 2025) – Gamble Estates, a Napa Valley estate winery with over a century of farming expertise, today announces the relaunch of its brand. With a three-generation legacy rooted in agricultural preservation, the sweeping changes include updated packaging introduced with the first Gamble Estates wines from the new winemaking team, as well as a redesigned website.

Formerly known as Gamble Family Vineyards, the Gamble Estates name upholds the family heritage, while championing the diversity of the winery’s multiple vineyard sites in top Napa Valley sub-appellations and the regenerative organic farming and precise winemaking that bring those terroirs to life.

Celebrating the winery’s 20th anniversary in 2025, the transition to Gamble Estates signifies more than just a name change: It represents an intensified focus on the estate-grown grapes that form the foundation of Gamble’s acclaimed portfolio. The Gamble family’s history in Napa Valley, coupled with third-generation farmer and first-generation vigneron Tom Gamble’s dedication to sustainable farming practices, is at the heart of every bottle. This rebranding reinforces the family’s commitment to preserving their land through distinctive, terroir-driven wines from their 175 acres of prime estate vineyards in Oakville, Mount Veeder, Yountville, and Rutherford.

“Transitioning to Gamble Estates perfectly captures the nature of our wines and their ability to reflect the remarkable diversity of Napa Valley’s most celebrated sub-appellations,” said Tom Gamble. “From Oakville’s rocky hilltop soils to Yountville’s cool microclimates, every bottle showcases the nuance and precision that guide every action we take, and we are excited to more clearly communicate that to our current and future collectors.”

The elevated new labels, featuring an elegant pen and ink sketch representing the Gamble family’s vineyards and personal story, adorn new lightweight custom Bordeaux glass bottles that will now be used across the entire portfolio, along with recyclable tin, natural cork and recyclable shippers to minimize the environmental impact of the packaging.

The updated look and feel coincides with the first release of Gamble Estates wines that Tom Gamble made in collaboration with Philippe Melka and Maayan Koschitzky of Atelier Melka, widely considered among Napa Valley’s most respected winemaking consultants. Beginning with the Spring 2025 releases, the Gamble Estates portfolio now features four sub-appellation wines from the winery’s Oakville, Mount Veeder, Rutherford, and Yountville estate vineyards. Each vintage, two bottlings will embody the best expression of Gamble’s estate vineyards: the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and Reserve Sauvignon Blanc. The winery’s Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, drawn from across the estate vineyards, is an entry-point into the portfolio.

“Our family has lived and worked in Napa Valley for over a century. Preserving our estate vineyards for future generations of our family is the cornerstone of everything we do,” said Tom Gamble. “The transition to Gamble Estates reflects our dedication to these vineyards and the exceptional wines they produce.”

Along with portfolio updates, Gamble Estates has also launched a new website, www.gambleestates.com, offering a more comprehensive look into the Gamble Estates story in in addition to pages dedicated to membership and wine acquisition.
